Selected strains of Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, isolated from natural sources.

Prepare authentic Bulgarian yoghurt with this starter culture combination of lactic acid microorganisms Lactobacillus bulgaricus and Streptococcus thermophilus, isolated from natural sources and selected strains. Each sachet is enough to ferment 1 to 5 litres of milk.

Cultures for home preparation of fermented dairy products are bacterial cultures, concentrated in a dairy medium, lyophilized and packaged in sachets of three-layer foil. They include selected strains of lactic acid microorganisms and bifidobacteria with proven probiotic properties. They do not contain excipients, preservatives and genetically modified ingredients. Lacto bacteria allow you to prepare and enjoy at home dairy products without additives and preservatives.

How to use Yogurt starter cultures:

Boil the milk. Leave hot for 30 minutes. Cool to 45°C. Add the starter cultures from one sachet, mix well until dissolved and pour into suitable containers. Allow the cultured milk to ferment at 45°C for 8 ÷ 10 hours without stirring. To maintain the fermentation temperature, use a yoghurt maker or a thick-walled container, which must be placed in a warm place, such as the oven, but make sure not to warm it above 45°C. If the fermentation takes place in the evening, the next morning the milk will have coagulated. Refrigerate without stirring. After cooling to 10°C, the yogurt is ready to eat. (Be sure to refrigerate without stirring before eating).

The quality of the finished product depends on the quality of the milk you use. If the result is unsatisfactory, try another milk brand.
