Description
Pre-cooked couscous produced from durum wheat grown in Italy to the standards of organic farming. Easy, quick and nutritious breakfast. Its traditional taste is implemented equally well in both sweet and savory recipes. It is suitable for the preparation of breakfast, main or side dish. It also can be used to improve the nutritional density of soups.
Cooking instructions:
Pour 70 g of couscous per person in a large low casserole. Add 1 spoon of extra virgin olive oil and mix gently with a wooden fork keeping the grains separated. Add 100 ml of boiling salted water per person, cover and let rest for 5 minutes. Separate the grains stirring with a wooden fork. Add a knob of butter and sit again over very low heat for 1-2 minutes. Serve with dressings of your choice.
