Vanilla Douce Soap bar - organic, Savon du Midi, 100 g

Sweet Vanilla plant soap smells intensely of vanilla and reminds of crème brûlée and vanilla pudding. The soap bar contains no allergens and is produced without dyes; the natural colour caused by the oxidation of the perfume gives it a soft brown tone that can vary from batch to batch. The production of soap from vegetable oils has a long tradition in the Mediterranean. Its main areas in southern France are Marseille and Provence.

For the production of the soap, only plant oils from controlled organic cultivation are used in the saponification process. After saponification, shea butter and, depending on the variety, honey, perfume or essential oil are added in the final processing. The result of this mostly manual production method is quality, soft and nourishing soap.
