Description
Durum wheat may be germinated and used in 2 different ways: after 2-3 days as “wheat germ” or after about 14 days as wheatgrass from which one can extract the popular juice.
To produce wheat germ soak the seeds in water overnight. The following morning place on the sprouting beds according to the indications in the table below. Water 2-3 times a day until complete germination which usually occurs after 2-3 days or when the roots have reached a length of 1-2 cm. To produce wheat grass the seeds must be placed in soil or in the special GEO kit and watered daily until the grass is 20 cm tall.
