Fine flour from psyllium husk with a neutral taste and aroma. Due to its high fibre content (89%) it can absorb fluids and increase its volume up to 20 times, leaving a feeling of satiety for a long time.
Husk flour is vegan and low in carbohydrates and saturated fat.
Use of Psyllium husk flour:
for making shakes, granola and pastries or sprinkled on fruit salad. Use 1-3 tsp. daily in 250 ml of water, soup, fruit juice or smoothie. Suitable as a natural gelling texture, for thickening soups, puddings or jams. When baking, it can be used as a binder, a substitute for xanthan gum or eggs. When consuming husk, it is important to ensure a sufficient daily fluid intake!
