Organic Soybeans
Soybeans are considered to be a source of complete protein., containing significant amounts of all the essential amino acids that must be provided to the human body because of the body's inability to synthesize them. Soy often replaces animal-based foods - which also have complete proteins but tend to contain more fat, especially saturated fat. Soy milk, tofu, tempeh, soy cheese, soy yogurt, soy nuts, miso are just a few examples of its numerous uses. A 1-cup serving of boiled soybeans contains 28.6 grams of protein and 10.3 grams of dietary fiber.
Use:
Soak the beans overnight. They nearly triple in size, so use a big pot. Sort through them and discard any discolored kernels, then rinse. Simmer until they're tender,the process usually takes about three hours.
