Speculaas biscuit spice - organic, ZoyaShop ®, 30 g

A traditional German blend of ground spices. Each of the ingredients - cinnamon, cloves, cardamom and mace - has its own character, but they manage to combine and balance in an amazing way. The spice mix gives a delightful exotic taste and flavour to biscuits and sweet-spicy baked goods, which can accompany a cup of cappuccino or tea at any time of the year. Speculoos, as they are called in Belgium, are spiced biscuits that are traditionally stamped with designs using wooden molds, special rolling pins or cookie stamps. Delicious, thin, crunchy, caramelized cookies that are truly irresistible, eaten on their own or dunked in a hot beverage.

Instructions for use:

If no specific amount is specified in the recipe, add 15 g spice mix per 500 g flour. Use to make cakes, biscuits, pancakes, waffles or add to hot drinks.
