Description
Alfalfa comes originally from Armenia. The word in Arabic means “father of all foods”. Seeds are very small. It is wrongly considered a grain, but, in fact, belongs to the pulses family. It is the most nutritious sprouts of all: very rich in protein, vitamins A, C, E, B complex, mineral elements like calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, iron and trace elements like selenium and zinc. Amongst vitamins also the least known vitamin K which enhances blood clotting and prevents mascarriages and haemorragaes. Thanks to its high content of manganese, it is an excellent treatment against arthtritis, rheumatism and diabetes. Red radish belongs to the Cruciferee family. The taste is very hot. In the first days seeds may develop some little white hairs leading to some serious mould if not taken away in time. It shows that quantity and rising routine of water are not correct.
